Woorden blijven hangen in de lucht
lossen op als druppeltjes dauw
Een dikke mist hangt om je heen
beschermt je wat je niet horen wou

Ergens is het spannend
en nieuwsgierig ook misschien
Want hoe zou het zijn
als je door de mist zou kunnen zien

Dat je best mag geloven
dat je niet anders hoeft te zijn
Dat de buitenwereld het al ziet
wat achter de mist verschijnt
